The exhibition will feature selected sculptures, drawings, and photography of Amedeo Modigliani, as well as fruits from the biodiversity of the world, realized by Glaucia Coelho Demenjour for Plexus International as living treasures, art pieces from Nature. Responsive to the call of international solidarity and moved by common ideals, FAO and the Modigliani Institut Archives Légales Paris-Rome join forces with the fundraising initiative “Responsible Art for Food”, for the TeleFood programme supporting school-gardens projects for the right to food and nutrition, that will effectively start on the World Food Day 2012. The objective is that of raising awareness on the linkages between creativity, life, biodiversity, food, sustainable diets and culture, and to trigger –through art- a wider movement of social responsibility to address hunger and malnutrition in the world.
