Plexus International sta celebrando dal 2005 la Giornata Internazionale dei Diritti Umani attraverso il PLEXUS METR'ART EROSIONS AND RENAISSANCE SHOWS, un evento internazionale itinerante, che è stato allestito in vari luoghi simbolici del mondo, partendo nel 2004 dalla “Porta del Non Ritorno” della Casa degli Schiavi nell'isola di Gorée, Dakar, sottoposta ad una crescente erosione marina, come simbolo dell'erosione della memoria storica dell'umanità.

Il PLEXUS METR'ART è un'opera monumentale d'arte storica contemporanea, lunga 390,94 metri e realizzata dal 2004 al 2019 da originali. fotocopie come riproduzioni di 935 opere digitali di 469 artisti provenienti da tutto il mondo, come contributo a Plexus Open Calls, su tematiche specifiche legate alle diverse forme di erosione crescenti nel pianeta, dall’erosione dei diritti umani, libertà e pace all’erosione della biodiversità e del nostro patrimonio naturale e culturale. Il PLEXUS METR'ART ha viaggiato, dal 2004 al 2023, fisicamente e virtualmente tra Dakar - Ballarat (Australia) -. Lecce, Roma, New York, Dakar, Passo del Furlo (Marche, Italia), Dakar, Rio de Janeiro Gerusalemme, Roma, Dakar, Cairns (Australia), Cagliari, Roma e Assisi.

Plexus International is celebrating the International Human Rights Day, through the  PLEXUS METR'ART EROSIONS AND RENAISSANCE SHOWS, an international travelling event, that has been staged in various symbolic places of the world which, starting in 2004 from the “Door of No Return" of the House of Slaves in the island of Gorée, Dakar, as a symbol of the erosion of the historical memory of humanity. The PLEXUS METR'ART is a monumental historical contemporary art work, long  390.94 meters  and made from 2004 to 2019 by original photocopies as reproductions of 935 digital works by 469 artists from all over the world, as their contribution to Plexus Open Calls on  specific thematic issues on various forms of erosions increasing in the planet, from the erosion of human rights, freedom and peace to the erosion of biodiversity and of our natural and cultural heritage.  The PLEXUS METR'ART has traveled, from 2004 to 2023, physically and virtually between Dakar - Ballarat  (Australia) - Lecce, Rome, New York, Dakar, Passo del Furlo (Marche, Italy), Dakar, Rio de Janeiro Jerusalem, Rome, Dakar, Cairns (Australia), Cagliari, Rome, and Assisi.
