with
THE METRO SOUND

From 14 July 14 to 2 August 2014, ZootCast.com on its Web radio will broadcast a special playlist called THE METRO SOUND, during which will be released all the music contributions arrived in response to the Plexus International Call "The Voyage of the Elisabeth."

On the occasion of the IMPACT (Interactive Multimedia Performing Arts Collaborative Technology), programme of the New York University Steinhardt School, New York, Plexus International invites all artists in the first person to participate in "The Voyage of Elisabeth," as a tribute to two historical protagonists: Dinu Ghezzo (The Voyage of the Serpent, Plexus International 1988, New York University) and David Ecker (the 1992 Christopher Columbus Consortium, Plexus International 1989, New York University) art and music educators of international fame. The event is' made in collaboration with the ISALTA-International Society for the Advancement of Living Traditions in the Arts, NYU IMPACT program, Art Intendo and ZootCast-Rome.

This Plexus CALL 2014, dedicated to the Freedom of Art, Expression and Communication, is a reminder of the 2013 Plexus Call BRING YOUR LIGHT: Perception and Awareness / All human rights for all, dedicated to Nelson Mandela and the 2012 Plexus Call RIO +20 EARTH IN ORDER TO SURVIVE! dedicated to the sustainability of our planet and of the living traditions of the Quilombolas Community of Rio de Janeiro. It is directed towards the development of the Plexus Art Co-Opera n. 5 SLAVERY ART CARGO VOYAGE, December 10, 2014, in Cairns, Australia and in Gavoi, Sardinia, as a recall of the 1988 Plexus Art Slavery Manifesto, against all forms of slavery, ancient or contemporary.
