2013 Plexus Open Call "In Order to Survive Perception Awareness: All Human Rights for All", dedicated to Nelson Mandela, Rome 10 Dec. 2013, Human Rights Day.

 

On the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, by reaffirming the art as a human right for all, against any forms of slavery, ancient and contemporary, Plexus International sends out the Open Call, 

 

dedicated to Nelson Mandela,

 

In Order to Survive 

 

Perception/Awareness: 

 

All Human Rights for All !!



To participate: Send, before 31January 2014, to info@plexusinternational.org. one concept-image (text and images for the moment) and if you are also interested to collaborate on it actively. All the artists who participated to the Plexus International events can also send their historical contributions to the Plexus Art Journey, from 1982 to 2013, and pre-history 1976-1981.

All contributions will be published in the Plexus website and, through a modular construction, will serve as the starting point to for the PLEXUS ART COOPERA n.5 (metaphoric title to be defined together). The project will be launched at the Fourth Triangle de l'Art Festival of the Medina of Dakar, on 10 May 2014, on the occasion of the Centenary of the Medina and of the Biennals of Arts of Dakar.

Symbolically, it will fly through the Door of No Return of the House of Slaves on Goree, Dakar, by carrying on the Call Rio+20 EARTH!!, launched in June 2012, in Rio de Jainero, from the Quilombo Community of Sacopa, and it will land in the Human Rights DAY 2014 with the publication of the Plexus Art Co-Opera n.5.
From January to May, 2014, a crowdfunding project will be developed with all those who have expressed their interest to cooperate actively in order to raise the necessary funds for the Triangle of Art Festival 2014 in Dakar and for the publication of the Plexus Art of Co-Opera N. 5.
